Black border around screen amd windows 8

You know this is the case if you have a black border, but your mouse moves into this as usable space. To change this setting in Catalyst Control Center: 1 Right click on the Desktop or the programs tabs in the start menu and open Catalyst Control Center.

I too have this issue. I also have the issue that the screen goes to a blurred lines screen when the laptop goes to sleep.

To work around that I now turn the laptop off every time I stop using it and have turned off the sleep mode entirely. The screenshot does not include the blackened border around the edge of the screen, but it is there none the less. I believe the driver for the display was messed up during the last windows 10 update. What we all need is to either have the driver reinstalled to the previous version by windows update so that we don't have to turn off updates. I updated to windows 10 and I now have a black border around my monitor.
